The Slovenian climate is ideal for Pinot Noir, and this example shows what could be achieved with this variety. Extended maceration has brought out the nuances of ripe grapes, and maturation in large, neutral barrels has preserved them.
Tasting Notes:
The aroma of smokey raspberries and strawberries and dill leads to a medium-full-bodied, vegetal red-fruit palate and a velvety finish. Very Burgundy-like, but more vibrant than most.
